Over 300 Visitors for Heritage Open Day

Over 300 visitors came to the recent Heritage Open Day at The French Hospital and The Huguenot Museum. This year the theme was ‘People Power’ and we celebrated the founder of The French Hospital, Jacques de Gastigny and his fore-sight in wanting to support Huguenot’s in need. On a beautiful sunny day, visitors got the chance to look round La Providence, see the amazing Huguenot inspired garden and enjoy homemade cakes provided by the Residents. Lots of local people attended the only chance to visit The French Hospital in the year and a number told stories of living here before it opened or who had family here. If you lived at The French Hospital before it opened, we would love to hear from you: fundraising@frenchhospital.org.uk
