300th Anniversary Celebration Dinner
We are pleased to report that we had a wonderful evening at the Garrick Club in London, where we marked the 300th Anniversary with a special black-tie Celebration Dinner on 19 October. We had 72 guests in attendance, including Lord and Lady Inglewood, and representatives and members from a wide variety of Huguenot organisations.
The Garrick Club was a fitting location for our 300th Anniversary Celebration Dinner as the great eighteenth century actor David Garrick was a Huguenot. His grandfather David de la Garrique fled France in 1685 and David’s father Peter was brought to England in 1687.
