While continuing to pursue its charitable aim of housing elderly Huguenots in need, the Directors of the French Hospital have therefore decided to launch an Appeal to raise £5.1m to create a National Huguenot Centre to present its unique collection of important Huguenot artefacts and archive materials to the public, documenting the Huguenots’ history and heritage. Over time we hope that the Archive will also store and preserve the collections of other Huguenot organisations, families and individuals for the information and pleasure of future generations. In the Museum we will also provide links to research facilities for visitors to uncover their own Huguenot roots. The Appeal brochure, available on request from the Clerk The French Hospital, explains how you can donate tax-efficiently using Gift Aid to enhance the value of your contribution to the Appeal while minimising the cost to you. Please give generously to help us make the dream of creating a National Huguenot Centre a reality.
